Great laptop for the price 2010-02-05 Just received delivery of this laptop and its brilliant does exactly what it says, fast efficient and has the ability to multi-task with ease. The keyboard layout with the numeric pad is a genius idea. the mousepad itself can be a little sensitive and take a bit of time getting used to. Just one other thing to note, it states it comes with microsoft office 2007 and this is true but its only the trial version from what I can tell - so buy the full version when ordering, its worth it. (Unless someone tells me different). Overall a great laptop for the price.
Great laptop 2010-01-22 Bought this for my wife's business and it is a superb laptop. Robust build, clear screen, light enough to be portable and runs smoothly with decent battery life (5-6 hours). Runs quietly and the webcam, built into the lid, is the best I've ever used - if you use Skype, you'll love it. Spent about 2 hours getting rid of the unwanted Acer and free trial programs (using Revo Uninstaller - I recommend it for getting rid of programs thoroughly). Be aware that the laptop comes with the 64-bit version of Windows 7. Not a problem, but some things aren't compatible yet. I put Windows Essentials Security on and that's working a treat. My only complaint is a minor one - keyboard's a bit 'clicky' - but this is far, far outweighed by it's general splendidness, especially at this price. Go on: stick it in your basket :)

You phone a call center in India (0870 number ),although their service centre is in Plymouth They will tell you any lie or false promise just to get you off the phone A really appalling service!
